Aim and objectives:
Medical treatment although it is the first option in treatment of various urinary voiding dysfunctions, however the medical treatment is not always successful and sometimes has significant side effects. Botulinum toxin has been described as a minimally invasive treatment option when medical treatment fails or associated with significant adverse effects. Many urologists do not know the principle of use Botulinum toxin for treatment of different voiding dysfunction. During this course, urologists will know all the details about the neurophysiology and anatomy of the lower urinary tract, the principles of use of Botulinum toxin in voiding dysfunctions, the indications and limitations of use of Botulinum toxin as well as live demonstration of cases for purpose of education of the technique of Botulinum toxin administration both in patients with refractory bladder overactivity and detrusor sphincteric dyssynergia.
